Human Factors

The Human Factors Research Cluster focuses on the human interactions with infrastructure and conveyances that operate over them. This website has been created to provide the opportunity for the DOT community to share research ideas and programs related to human factors in transportation.

This cluster is maintained by the DOT Human Factors Coordinating Committee (HFCC).  The HFCC's mission is to enhance awareness understanding, application and evaluation of human factors in transportation.  For more information on HFCC, please visit http://hfcc.dot.gov.
